If you missed Wingo’s workshops in February, you’re in for a treat!  Wingo Hom is a New York City native who has been dancing since age nine. He finished first in the advanced division of the Just Hustle competition at Summer Hummer 1998 and first in the Hustle Jack and Jill at Seashore Boogie in Cape May in 1998. Wingo and his partner were ranked number one amateur Latin dancers on the East Cost for four years. Wingo has taught dance at New York University.

Thursday, August 26, 1999

5:45 to 6:00pm

Registration

6 to 7pm

Beg/Cont Hustle I:  Will review basic footwork and simple moves.  No experience is required, however, some will be helpful.  Recommended for both beginners and those that have had some hustle experience.

7 to 8pm

Cont/Int Hustle I:  Will introduce more complicated patterns and more advanced spin techniques for the ladies.  Some experience is required.

8 to 10:30pm

Regularly scheduled record hop

 

Thursday, September 2, 1999

Registration

6 to 7pm

Beg/Cont Hustle II:  Will pickup where Beg/Cont Hustle I left off.  Students should have at least taken the Beg/Cont Hustle I workshop from the previous week.  Will introduce more simple patterns.

7 to 8pm

Cont/Int Hustle II:  More advanced patterns with spin technique and styling.

8 to 10:30pm

Regularly scheduled record hop

 

Registration Fees

Ø      Each class is $8.00

Ø      Two or more classes is $6.00

Ø      Record hop is $3.00 or free if a workshop is taken that evening
